Understand the three survival meters

Every species in Savannah Life runs on three core meters: hunger, thirst and stamina. If hunger or thirst hits zero, your health drains steadily until you feed or drink, so topping them up is your number one priority as a new player.

Stamina governs sprinting and combat actions. A predator that empties its stamina bar chasing prey will be too exhausted to finish the kill or escape a counterattack, so always keep a reserve.

Your first few minutes

Spawn in, locate the nearest food and water source, and fill both meters before you do anything else. As a free Impala or another starter, you are fragile, so stay near cover and keep your distance from predators.

  • Eat and drink immediately to build a buffer.
  • Stick to the edges of open areas where you can flee into cover.
  • Avoid crowded watering holes early, where fights break out constantly.
  • Complete easy daily quests to start earning Coins.

Survive longer to earn more

Surviving is rewarded directly through quests and survival badges, and indirectly because staying alive lets you keep farming Coins. Play patiently, react to threats early, and you will bank enough Coins to upgrade to a sturdier animal quickly.
